Robot Mouse LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the SnapShip mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
- Camera and Photos — Accessed solely to identify items for analysis. Photos are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI and are not stored on our servers.
- Location Data — Collected only if you use the Finds Log feature. Stored locally on your device and not transmitted to our servers.
- Device Identifier (IDFV) — Used to manage scan quotas and referral codes. Cannot identify you personally.
- Purchase Information — Subscription purchases are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not store payment information.
- Usage Data — Anonymous usage statistics collected to improve the app.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain core app functionality
- To manage your subscription status via RevenueCat
- To process referral codes and bonus scans
- To improve and optimize the app experience
- To comply with legal obligations
Third-Party Services
Data Retention
Local data (scan history, finds log, preferences) can be deleted by uninstalling the app. Server-side data is retained for up to 12 months.
Children's Privacy
SnapShip is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Rights

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
